[ send me this paper ]
A 6 page research paper that examines how socially constructed concepts of gender do not necessarily—in fact very seldom—actually match the reality of sexuality as experienced by individuals. Societal Barriers Based on Sexual Orientation, Gender, and Race
[ send me this paper ]
A 5 page discussion of the numerous societal barriers and limitations which are put in place on the basis of race, gender, and sexual orientation. Contends that since the advent of the Civil Rights movement of the 1960s, societal restrictions and limitations made on the basis of gender and race have slowly lessened. The reason for this change is the willingness of individuals to stand up for their basic rights, to exert their differences and to insist that there be no societal differentiation based on those differences. While there has been tremendous progress in regard to societal equality of the races and genders, however, there are still many barriers and limitations which are imposed on such factors as sexual orientation. The author contends that these restrictions and limitations can be overcome as well. All that is needed is the willingness to do so and the fortitude to stand in the face of all resistance. Bibliography lists 3 sources.

[ send me this paper ]

The author of this paper contends that while that has been the case throughout history, feminist criminology is slowly fashioning such a language. Bibliography lists sources.

Spousal Homicide: Can It Be Defended?
[ send me this paper ]
(6 pp) The significance and use of a successful provocation plea as an extenuating ground is usually that it reduces murder to manslaughter, despite the fact the defendant intended to-and did-kill in anger. The unique feature of provocation is that the plea may extenuate even though it is accepted that, in killing, the defendant was not seeking to save him or herself from death or injury. The following information should enforce the possibility of use of the provocation defense. Bibliography lists 7 sources.

Staying Single In Contemporary Society
[ send me this paper ]
In this 7 page research paper, the writer argues that staying single is actually more economically feasible than getting married in modern American society. First citing a number of statistics which demonstrate that fewer people are even marrying at all, the writer moves on to show materialistic reasons why men in particular are better off unmarried. Economic issues concerning child-rearing, the likelihood of divorce, etc.;- -are all factored into the discussion. Although not necessarily any easier, the trend towards "living together" is briefly analyzed as well. Bibliography lists 5 sources.
