This 10 page report discusses the differences between the perceptions, expectations, and realities of what families who had admitted a loved one to a nursing facility will experience. While there may be certain similarities in admitting a loved one to a nursing facility, it should also be understood that every situation is unique. Perceptions of Nurse Practitioners
[ send me this paper ]
A 5 page paper discussing the perceptions that physicians and nurses have towards the nurse practitioner. The nurse practitioner is becoming more and more necessary in light of the fact that more and more people need care and there are only so many doctors to go around. The existence of nurse practitioners also enables health care costs to be minimized as the charges are not as high for their employment as for doctors. Most doctors are wary at first, assuming the nurse practitioner may not be truly qualified. But their fears often disappear after working with them. Nurses are generally accepting of the nurse practitioner as well, understanding that they play an essential role in the field of medicine. Bibliography lists 20 sources.
